Book Thief: Parts 2&3 Blog Post

Some of the books and films I have seen about the Nazi Germany are Farewell to Manzanar, Hacksaw Ridge, and The Book Thief. In the book, Farewell to Manzanar, the Japanese girl and her family have a horrible life in an internment camp because the US doesn’t trust her dad. I found it really interesting how in the camp, they only had 4 bathrooms for the 200 people there were. Plus, they were all in one tent without any separators. The lives of Jews in Nazi Germany were awful. They were thrown into concentration camps and many were slaughtered there. Non-Jews, on the other hand, were either put to work for making weapons and war supplies, having to dig graves and bury their own, or testing weapons.
